i actually own a 2002 ford ranger 2wd with the 5.0 from the awd mercury mountaineer and they did a weld job on ny driveshaft but i have no clue what my rear end is

Don't think it is worth the extra $110 for Dynatek but points for hitting the multimeter and fixing it.

Just remember if you have 4x4 you have to change the front diff to match the gears in the back or you will definitely have worse problems

You pulled all that out for the O2 sensor. Lol they're always rusted on and usually bad just take a torch and heat up the nut on the exhaust as you see it getting hot wait then when you see it smoke wait till it stops smoking take the torch off and just it'll easy turn right on out. And you can use a small hand torch If you're scared to use it in close confined areas get a wet towel and wrap it over some any exposed areas you're scared you're not able to aim that torch at

The 2.5 liter was a short lived engine timing belt driven and non valve intruded , Ford went back with the 2.3 for later models. Have owned a 96 regular cab 2.3 and drove it to 250.000 miles no issues, ball joints control arm bushings , clutch brakes , shocks batteries tires and shocks. Had a 2000 4.0 extended cab auto, got wrecked. Needed ball joints at 125,000. Good truck. Have an 03' Edge regular cab 3.0 5 speed, needed ball joints , coil pack, radiator and water pump. clutch at 160,000. Fuel pump and of course tires, brakes, battery. Mobil 1 5w20 in all of them, never left me stranded any of them. Great trucks.

Your ranger smart that's great,but you ain't never had a 1988 ranger 2.0. . you cant do much but change the rubber band on the propeller..Air leaks are the worst enemy to to my wheel barrel paid $500 5 years ago it has never let me down ,other then school buses passing me by .yeah love your videos but if I want power I think I would go back to Chevys.thank you for all your help clutch bleeding ,choosing rear ends and killer short cuts.

hmmmm.....i just cannot get the old 02 sensor off of my 04 toyota matrix. Tried heat torch, all the correct tools (proper wrench, o2 sensor socket, penetrating oil , etc). The nut rounded off, damn thing seized. ( this 02 sensor under the car near the Cat.). But i am willing to give it another go after once again i let the penetrating oil work in. Then use your method of 02 sensor socket + hose clamp. I already changed the upper sensor almost 1.5 years ago, no problem. The bottom Cat 02 sensor just a stubborn seized on piece of crap. I paid around $75 for the 02 cat. sensor and never got to install it...been bugging me ever since. Mechanic shops here want at least $100-140 labor to install my supplied part!

Dude, they make vibration apps for the smartphone you might try. And, Fords have been known to jump into reverse from park, all on their own. Just sayin.

If you don't have the correct size hose clamp, you can use a pipe wrench over the socket. Same idea, more force.

Easy fix . Stick of dynamite in the end of pipe and light. No more sensor. Thanks

Why not just use an O2 sensor socket that has been out for 20 years and a little heat if needed.
